"Twitter" somewhere I read this is going to be more popular than some of the social networking sites, for the timebeing,I think facebook is doing really good. Wondering what it is, just register yourself at www.twitter.com And follow your friends and family. You can also see a link on the top right corner of the screen, if you want to know what I am upto, you get the status delivered straight to your cell phone, and this site works unlike some other sms sites,try it,very much recommended.
